Where:                 Aircraft Club – 200 Clement Road, East Hartford, CT

For Who:             Beginners to Low Handicap Golfers

Women – Men – Teenagers – Seniors Welcome

When:                  Starting February 6th (Wed.) and 7th (Thurs.) – 5:30 p.m. & 7:00 p.m.

or 9th (Sat.) – 10:00 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.

                              Running each week through mid-April

 

How Many:          Ten, 1 Hour Golf Sessions with Last Two at Outside Golf Facility

 
 

COST - $ 115.00 – 1 Student, Ten 1 Hour Sessions

Non-Members - $125.00 (6 Students per Session)

Winter Golf Sessions

With Mike Colandro – Golf Professional and Instructor

 

• Stress Relief Techniques • How to Trust Your Swing

 • Strengthening Golf Muscles • Golf Training Aids

• Golf Stretches (Tai Chi & Yoga) • Full Swing Fundamentals

• Chipping, Pitching & Putting Basics • Pre-Shot Routine • Prevent Injuries

 

Outline of Winter Golf Session

1)  Golf Stretching –        Fingers, legs, feet, core muscles, back (Trueback), arms, shoulders, neck.

2)  Tai-Chi & Yoga –      Several positions to increase body’s elasticity and movement.

3)  Golf Strengthening – Strength Training Club, the Power Hitter Club, and Trueback, a non-powered orthopedic traction device.

4)  Break Time –             Like a 9 hole break to have a drink, relax, ask questions, etc.

5)  Art of Scoring –         Full Swing Basics (Hitting), Chipping, Pitching and Putting skills that work.

6)  Cool Down Time –     Stretching, etc., questions and answers, the mental game with “Inthezonetechnology.com”

 

Winter Golf Sessions are open to men and women from teenagers to seniors and all level of golfers.  Each one hour session will have 6 students and it will start the first week of February through the second week in April.  This 10 week package will include 8 sessions indoors and the last 2 sessions will be at an outside golf facility.  All golf clubs, balls, etc. will be provided and sneakers or soft spiked golf shoes are required.  These winter golf sessions are designed to increase range of motion, strengthen golf muscles, and create a golf learning experience in the winter months.
